A total of 369 people from 10 teams were shortlisted from the original list of 991 participants. The team looked for his 36 additional players to add to the final list, bringing a total of 405 players to his TATA IPL 2023 auction. There are 119 capped players, 282 uncapped players, and four players from related countries.

A total of 87 locations are currently available, of which up to 30 are reserved for international players.
